Just Like Me is a compassion practice that reminds us how much we have common with everyone else. Regardless of how someone looks on the outside, we know that they can feel fearful, sad, or lonely on the inside. By remembering this, our perspectives expand from a narrow sense of “me” to a broader sense of “we.”  Compassion practices like this one deepen our understanding of the many ways we're similar to everyone else, regardless of the ways that we're different from one another.
