mindful games family retreats
Slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and have fun with the entire family at a one of a kind Mindful Games retreat. Especially helpful for busy families, parents and kids will learn fun, brief, original, and effective mindfulness activities that build lasting psychological strengths while offering moments of calm and humor, even when stress and strong emotions run high. Mindful games for busy families strengthen and support how families connect to and communicate with one another while helping parents and kids alike develop greater mind-body awareness, compassionate life skills, and manage stress. At our family retreats, children play mindful games together with one another and their parents.
Parents will be offered a chance to practice with other parents and learn age-appropriate activity-based mindfulness for their families, while children take part in a rich program of mindfulness, meditation, and yoga taught through stories, songs, and play. Everyone will come together for fun activities like hikes, games, and evenings by the fire. Days will be spacious so that the whole family will have the opportunity to connect, play, learn, and deepen their experiences with mindfulness together and in community with other families.
