Letting Go Without Giving Up

At some point in our lives, we will all face situations that we can't control, at least not at the moment. Then we have a choice - we can choose to let the situation derail us, or we can choose to stay on track and practice the quality of allowing. Simply put, allowing means learning to be with what's happening when it's happening. We don't give up working to make the world a better place. We just recognize, "This is what's happening now. Nothing I can do about it right now, but maybe there's something I can do about it later."
